Queen Makeda or the Queen of Sheba

- In search of truth and wisdom, trekked 1400 miles across the sands of Arabia, the coast of the Red Sea, and over the Jordan River to Jerusalem to meet King Solomon.
- Some believe the “Song of Songs” was written to her by King Solomon in the Bible.
There is some dispute about Queen Makeda's trek across "the sands of Arabia." The Arabs say it was Queen Belkis who made the trek, but the Ethiopians say that it was Queen Makeda, who traveled to Jerusalem from Ethiopia, and not Arabia, to visit Solomon in the famous biblical story.
